Junior Engineer

Purpose of Position :
The individual would be working as the Training Faculty and shall provide quality training to the trainees. The Junior Engineer will have to communicate regularly with the Industries and improvise the curriculum accordingly. The trainer will contribute significantly towards achieving the organizations goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provides individual and group instruction by means of demonstrations, sketches, explanations and visual aids
• Prepare power point presentations, determine instructional methods, and develops administers and grades evaluations in theory and practice
• Creates and maintains records of students’ attendance, progress, attitude and accomplishments
• Instructs students in the use of tools and safety precautions
• Instructs and evaluates students in respective trade techniques as machine shop, welding, automobile body repair, electronics and electrical repair, blueprint reading, construction and environmental technology
• Motivate and counsel students as and when required
• Assists student in the selection of training courses, in matters of industrial practices and rules, and counsels’ students on academic problems
• Monitors student behavior and discipline. Performs related work as assigned

Qualification/Skills

• Engineering Graduate / Diploma or equivalent. *National Trade Certificate in the Welding trade with three-year experience OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in the welding trade with one-year experience

Competencies and Skills :

• Good communication skills and dynamic personality. Industry certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/ technical training/ technical education fields/ production floors. Having work experience as engineer/ trainer. Ability to communicate in Kannada will be an added advantage
